More Information about our Monthly Unit Games
Our monthly unit games begin with an informal lunch followed by a duplicate bridge session. You may choose to enter the open game or the 0-499 game. All bridge players are welcome although bridge experience is needed. Winners will receive black masterpoints.
ENTRY FEE
Price per session is $15 for ACBL members; $19 for non-members. Students age 25 and under pay $10 per session. (Plus $5 if the yearly Longest Day Fundraiser event.) OUR DECEMBER UNIT GAME IS FREE (and includes a short annual meeting).
REGISTRATION
Pre-registration is strongly encouraged since space is limited. Pre-registration will close one day prior to the event or earlier if all tables are filled. On-site registration and payment will close at NOON.
The link to the google form pre-registration can be found on the San Mateo Unit 498 website events page. If you do not receive an email acknowledgement of your form submittal or have trouble using the form, please contact Carl Ebeling.
If you do not pre-register, please arrive at least 30 minutes before the event. Walk-ins are accepted on a space available basis after 12pm.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept Venmo and Zelle for unit and sectional game fees as well as cash! Links and QR codes will be posted at the registration table. Why stand in line? Get into the room and socialize!

PARKING
Parking at The Villa is free. See map for parking options. If you pre-registered, you will receive an email prior to the event that includes the gate code. Otherwise, go to San Mateo Bridge Center for the code.
MASKS
At present, proof of vaccination is NOT required consistent with District 21’s present Covid policy. There is NO mask requirement at the tournament, unless a player at a table requests that masks be worn at that table. In that case, all players at that table are required to wear a mask. Please bring your mask to accommodate anyone requesting masking at their table
FOOD
Lunch begins at 11:30 and is included in your fee. Complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, and water will also be provided.
