Our next Unit Game: August 10^th. Hosted soft drinks, appetizers and conversation at 5:15. Dinner at 5:30, stratified pairs at 6:15 PM. Our Summer Sectional nears. It will be held again at the San Mateo Expo Center on July 13th and 14th. For details, see our ad in this "Forum." Please call Chair Fran Ball at (650) 591-2790 to offer help with preparations, setting up or closing down. To avoid conflict with the Sectional, there will be no July Unit Game.

At 498's annual meeting/May unit game, President Ellie Stauffer announced election results and the annual Ace of Clubs (points made at our club) and Mini-McKenney (all points made) awards. Fran Ball, Eric Dundatscheck, Ralph Levin, Paul Levine, Al Malouf, Sara Rae Miller, Brian Reis, Ellie Stauffer and Kate Talbot were reelected. Newly elected are Marian Jarrett and Linda Schwarz. The new board has since elected Ellie Stauffer - President, Brian Reis - Vice President, Marian Jarrett - Secretary and Al Malouf - Treasurer. Many thanks to the new board for the time and effort they will contribute. Many thanks also to Pauline Berkow and Kris Tejwani, our retiring directors, for their years of dedication and unselfish service.
